Nakupenda Beach Tour
Nakupenda Beach Day Tour from Stone Town Zanzibar
The Nakupenda Beach tour in Zanzibar offers visitors a slice of paradise, with stunning white sands, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a tranquil, tropical ambiance. Nakupenda, meaning “I love you” in Swahili, is a pristine sandbank located just off the coast of Stone Town. Accessible only by boat, the sandbank appears and disappears with the tides, creating a unique, ephemeral setting ideal for a day trip filled with relaxation, swimming, and marine exploration. It is a very particular island, quite typical of the zone, with white sand, clean water. You will visit prison island first on boat, with the giant tortoises, and learn about culture and history. Later you will reach a sand bank at Nakupenda and whilst you do snorkel and other beach activities, we will prepare an excellent meal (a sea food taste) with fresh fruits. Nakupenda is located about 20 minutes on boat from stone Town’s coast and it is a big dune of sand which get submerged during the high tide and is a great place to rest, get tan, enjoy the water and relax. This tour suits all groups solo, couples, family and big groups. Relax on the sandbank or discover marine life around the sandbank before riding our motorboat or sailing back to Stone town.
