‘Kilimanjaro Safaris’, or ‘KLM Safaris’ for short, we are Tanzanian registered Travel and Tourism Operator based in Moshi Kilimanjaro. KLM Safaris is a family-owned and operated company with over 10 years of experience in the tourism industry. We are committed to social responsibility by investing in local communities through employment and training to Tanzanians. The company directors are professionals in Tourism & Travel particularly trekking adventures and wildlife safaris. Our ambition is to work as a team of professionals to deliver tourism products that will meet our customer’s satisfaction.
We have qualified management team with experience in African wildlife tourism safaris, Kilimanjaro mountain trekking and volunteering with both local and international tour operators. For the past 10 years, our team has been involved in planning and managing tours ranging from solo, family and small group travel. Also, the team has been involved widely in volunteering projects with poor rural communities which include; medical, educational, environmental, entrepreneurship, environmental and conservation projects. Our commitment to wildlife safaris, community projects, and environmental conservation has been a rewarding experience to KLM Safaris and our travellers.
Our Kilimanjaro Guides
Meet Bryson: Our leader Guides with over 10 years of experience, a father of three. Bryson, ambition is to become a professional international mountain guide. He is well trained on birds, mammal’s trees and flowers of Kilimanjaro. Bryson is also our health and safety officer.
Meet Justo: Guide, Professional Kilimanjaro Guide with over 15 years experience. He started climbing Kilimanjaro as a porter, cook, assistant guide and now is a certified Kilimanjaro guide.
Meet Lameck: Summit Guide, Experienced Guide over 24 years climbing Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Born at the footstep of Kilimanjaro and he started climbing as a porter in 1991. He has over 372 Kili climb in all routes and over 250 successful summiting. He is a professional & experienced licensed summiting guide. You will never fall asleep while summiting because Lameck is a great singer and he will cheer you up.
Meet Albert: He is our professional Leader guide; he has been working with five Kili trekking Companies since 1995. Recently he has joined our team Kilimanjaro Trekking.
Our Safari Guides
Meet John and Amani, Goodluck and Philip: they are KLM safaris professional and licensed guides specialized on Safari. Our Guides have over 15 years in the tourism industry. They have travelled all over Tanzania national Parks including some in Kenya and Uganda. Our safari guides will show you the magic of the wilderness in Africa.
We are concerned about the health of the environment in all visited destinations. Our commitment is to minimize the environmental and social impact of travel. Through our carbon-neutral project, we have been encouraging our clients to participate in environmental conservation during their visit.
