9 Days Northern Circuit with Crater, this is a unique route that only visits the untouched northern slope. Is the newest and longest trail on Mount Kilimanjaro. It begins west of Mount Kilimanjaro at the Londorossi Gate with excellent views from all sides of the mountain, including the quiet, rarely visited northern slopes. The trail is less crowded compared to other Kilimanjaro trails.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to hotel
Upon arrival in Tanzania via Kilimanjaro International airport (JRO), you will be picked up by a KLM Safaris staff member a KLM Safaris placard and transferred to Moshi town where you will spend your first night at a hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Londorossi Park Gate (2,385m or 7825 ft)and climbing to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,700 meters or 8858 ft)feet)
After eating breakfast at your hotel, your guide will brief you on the day. You will drive two hours from your hotel to Londorossi Park Gate. In the village near Londorossi Gate, you will receive a packed lunch and can buy mineral water for the hike. At the entrance gate, the guides and porters distribute the supplies and register with the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA). You are now ready to begin your 3-hour hike into the rain forest. Be on the lookout for Colobus monkeys! Along the way, you will stop for an afternoon lunch break and arrive at Mti Mkubwa (“Big Tree”) Campsite (2750m) in the early evening. The porters, who arrive at the campsite before the clients, will set up your tent and boil water for drinking and washing. The chef will prepare a snack then dinner for the clients.

Day 6: Buffalo Camp (4,020 M) to Rongai Third Cave (3,800 M)
Day 7: Climbing 3rd Cave (3,800 M) to School Hut (4,800 M)
Day 8: Climbing School Hut (4,800 M) crater camp
Day 9: Climbing Uhuru Peak and then back to School hut and descent to Millenium camp
Day 10: Millennium Camp 3,950 M to Mweka Gate 1,640 M
