It consists primarily of two main islands which are Unguja often simply referred to as “Zanzibar” and Pemba as well as numerous smaller islands. Unguja, the largest island, is where Zanzibar City and the historic Stone Town are located. Day 1: Arrival at Zanzibar International airport and airport transfer
Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport where by a staff member from KLM Safaris will be there holding a placard to welcome you and transfer to your hotel. The airport transfer will depend with your flight time where by you will provide such flight information to the KLM Safaris office contacts. You will spend the first night at the hotel booked.

Day 2: stone town city exploration
Stone Town the historic heart of Zanzibar City, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich blend of African, Arab, Indian, and European cultural influences. Located on the western coast of Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, Stone Town offers a unique fusion of architecture, history, and vibrant cultural life that reflects its centuries-old role as a major trade centre in the Indian Ocean. Our guide will meet you at the starting point the Anglican Cathedral. After introduction, our tour will start by visiting the former Slave Market, the Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders, the Sultan’s Palace Museum and Old Arab. You’ll explore also the local markets and see seafood and fish piled high, fresh loaves of bread in wicker baskets and stacks of fruit and vegetables, as traders sell their goods from market stalls. The tour will also include visits to the Freddie Mercury house, Zanzibar Curio Shop, Jaws Corner coffee shop and many important destinations in stone town. The tour will be very flexible based on what you would-like to see in stone town. Later in the evening the guide will drop you off in the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Kwale island exploration
Kwale Island, located off the southern coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, is a hidden gem known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This small island is part of the larger Kwale Archipelago and is often less crowded than some of the more popular tourist destinations in Zanzibar, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway. It is also known as blue safari trip where by our guide in the morning will pick you up heading to Kwale island by boat for half day to experience the beauty of this hidden gem. You will spend the time in that quite place to experience the magic of that blue safari trip. In the afternoon you will enjoy the most stunning sea food with fresh fruits then, after finish the day you will start a journey back to your hotel for relaxing, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Prison island exploration
Prison island Is a small, picturesque island located about 5.6 kilometres (3.5 miles) northwest of Stone Town, Zanzibar. This coral island is a popular tourist destination, known for its intriguing history, stunning beaches, and its sanctuary of giant Aldabra tortoises. You will have an opportunity to explore the rich culture and history of Zanzibar with a visit to Prison Island by boat. See the large tortoises that inhabit the Island, and enjoy the opportunity to snorkel off the coast. You will visit Prison Island on a private 3-hour tour, and discover the rich history and beautiful natural surroundings of this location. Meet your guide in Zanzibar, or select the option including hotel pickup, then enjoy the ride to the island on a traditional dhow. Learn how this small island gained its name and explore the place that is now home to more than 50 tortoises, some over 100 years old. You will also have another experience of feeding the tortoises and take up-close pictures with them, as you keep a lookout for the peacocks and antelope that also live there. After discovering the island and its history, take the opportunity to snorkel in the clear waters off the coast amongst tropical fish and colourful coral. At the end of your tour, you will return to Stone town, where you’ll be dropped off in the city centre, or at your hotel.

Day 5: Mnemba Atoll snorkelling
Mnemba Atoll, located off the northeastern coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania, is renowned for its stunning snorkelling experiences. This small, private island is surrounded by crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs, making it a popular destination for snorkelers and divers alike. The waters around Mnemba Atoll are teeming with marine life. Snorkelers can expect to see a variety of colourful fish, including parrotfish, clownfish, and angelfish, as well as sea turtles, dolphins, and even the occasional reef shark. In the morning after breakfast your guide will pick you up heading to Mnemba Atoll where you will spend the day to dive and snorkel in that beautiful Atoll. At noon the lunch will be provided where you will enjoy the most stunning sea food and fresh fruits or juice. Later in the evening you will jump in the boat heading to your accommodation center for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Spice farm tour and airport transfer
After having a strong breakfast, you guide will pick you up to start a tour heading to spice farm. A spice farm tour in Zanzibar is a unique, immersive experience that delves into the island’s rich history as a spice hub and offers a sensory exploration of its agricultural treasures. Known as the "Spice Island," Zanzibar has a tropical climate ideal for cultivating a variety of spices such as cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, and vanilla. These spices, which once drove Zanzibar’s economy and established its historical significance on the trade routes, remain an integral part of the island’s identity and local culture. Later after finish the spice tour you have a chance to visit different souvenirs shop and your guide will drop off at the airport or any other place you want.
