Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania and transfer to the hotel

On your arrival at Dar es salaam International Airport a member of our staff will be holding a placard of KLM Safaris. After welcome note, you will then be transferred to Coral Beach Hotel in Dar es Salaam. In the evening our safari guide will be there to give you a brief information about your tour later overnight ate Golden Talip Hotel. (Bed and Breakfast).

Day 2-3: Nyerere National Park- Guided Game drive (Full day)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam in the morning around 06:00 am drive to Nyerere National Park the park is located in South Eastern Tanzania, roughly 230 kilometers, four hours’ drive by road from Dar es Salaam city to Mtemere Gate. The park was carved out from the Selous Game reserve, a huge wilderness area and safari destination in Southern Tanzania. Nyerere Park boasts of the largest concentration of wild animals and a rich collection of wildlife that is abundant and diverse. Good numbers of Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah are to be found here along with other large Game animals such as Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Wildebeest and other wildlife. Upon your arrival, our guide will finish all formalities then you will proceed with game drive till afternoon then lunch and camp check inn. Later you will leave for an evening guided boat ride at Rufiji River. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay at Nyerere Beho Beho Camp (Full Board).

Day 4: Nyerere National Park to Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, you will check out in the camp and continue to morning drive spotting animals while heading to exit gate and start drive to Mikumi National Park 230 kilometers, taking about 5-6 hours’ drive. The park is endowed with spectacular concentration of wildlife which are rarely seen in other parks like magnificent Sable antelope, African hunting dog, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and others. The gentle foothills and vast Miombo woodland savanna in the southern parts of the park are quite spectacular. Whilst on safari, you will see a wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, antelopes, giraffes, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day, dinner and your overnight at Tan swiss Lodge (Full Board).

Day 5: Mikumi National Park- Guided Game Drive (Full day)

Today you will continue to explore Mikumi national park with full guided game drive. Mikumi is one of the most popular National Park in Tanzania the park is also decorated by its superbly scenic plains and baobabs and it is home to various wild animals and birds’ species. If you are interested in wildlife and nature, Mikumi is definitely worth visiting. The park offers a unique safari experience, as it is less crowded than some of the more well-known national parks in Tanzania, such as Serengeti or Ngorongoro. This is another beautiful day for you to spot many animals in the park including cats group, elephants, rhinos, giraffes and many more. In the afternoon you will enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic site them continue with the game till evening where you will drive heading to your accommodation center for dinner and overnight stay (Full board).

Day 6: Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains National Park

You will wake up in the morning to have breakfast then check out to your accommodation as well as park authorities and start journey of 2-3 hours 149 km drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park established in 1992 and covers an area of 1990km² where geographically, 20% of the total area lies in Morogoro region while the remaining 80% being in the southern highland region of Iringa. The wildlife spotted in the park includes elephants, leopards, bush bucks, duikers, palm civets, Miombo genets, elephant shrews and hyenas and primates group. Among the primates Iringa red colobus and the Sanje crested Mangabey are the unique ones. With more than 400 species of birds species. Upon your arrival the guide will finish all formalities and enjoying the lunch then you will start your guided game drive till evening where you will drive heading to your accommodation center for dinner and overnight stay (Full board).

Day 7: Udzungwa Mountains National Park to Ruaha National Park

You will wake up in the morning to have breakfast and pack your lunch. We will check out of the lodge and start the final game drive and visit Sanje waterfalls as an optional activity and enjoy the lunch there. After all, in the Udzungwa National Park, you will start another journey of 4 hours’ drive, 231 km to Ruaha National Park found in the Iringa region. Upon your arrival, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Iringa environment. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Mount Royal Villa Hotel outside of Ruaha National Park (bed and breakfast).

Day 8: Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park is a national park in Tanzania where by in 2008, the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands were added to the park, increasing its size to about 20,226 km² (7,809 sq mi) .The Park is about 130 kilometers (81 mi) west of Iringa. After breakfast in the morning with packed lunches, you will drive to the park 15 minutes for full-day game drives. Upon arrival your guide will do all formalities to get entry permits then proceed with game drive spotting different animals like kudus, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, impalas, antelopes, giraffes, and buffalo. In the afternoon you will drive to the picnic site for lunch then continue with game drive till evening, where you will drive to your accommodation center inside of national park for check inn, dinner and your overnight stay at Ikaka Safari Camp (Full board).

Day 9: Ruaha National Park to Mafia Island

You will wake up in the morning around 08:00 am to have breakfast followed by checking out in the accommodation place. We will start final game drive heading to exit gate to sign out. You will drive to the souvenir shop at town for you to purchase some gifts of your interest and enjoy you lunch at the restaurant in town center while saying good bye to your safari driver guide. At the evening you will be transferred to Iringa airport to take flight to Mafia Island. Up on your arrival our company representative will pick you up to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Kinasi Lodge (Bed and breakfast)

Day 10-13: Mafia Island beach extension

Discover the paradise of Mafia Island, the hidden gem of Tanzania, where nature is still untouched and life is peaceful. The island is 50 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide. The protected marine park surrounding Mafia Island offers an environment rich in whales and other marine mammals. Access to the island is limited to visitors, making it quieter than the main island of Zanzibar. Mafia Island is a true paradise for those seeking both adventure and tranquility. Whether diving into the vibrant coral reefs, exploring historical ruins, or simply relaxing on pristine beaches, there’s something for everyone. Our guide will lead you in every single activity to make sure you will enjoy the best of being in such wonderful hidden island. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided at Kinasi Lodge (Full board).

Day 14: Mafia Island to Dar es Salaam

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some final moments on the beach before preparing for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a last swim or stroll before transferring back to Dar es Salaam for your onward journey.
