Kilimanjaro Safaris’ or ‘KLM Safaris’ for short is a Tanzanian registered Travel and Tourism Operator with Reg No 100437 based in Moshi, Kilimanjaro. KLM Safaris is a family-owned and operated company with over 10 years of experience in the tourism industry. The company directors are professionals in the Tourism & Travel industry, particularly in the field of trekking adventures and wildlife safaris. Our ambition is to work as a team of professionals to deliver tourism products that will meet our customer’s satisfaction. We have a qualified management team with experience in African wildlife tourism safaris, Kilimanjaro Mountain trekking and volunteering with both local and international tour operators. For the past 10 years, our team has been involved in planning and managing tours ranging from solo, family and small group travel. Also, the team has been widely involved in volunteering projects with poor rural communities in areas not limited to medical, educational, entrepreneurship, environmental and conservation and community development. Our commitment to sustainable tourism in wildlife safaris, community projects, environmental conservation has been a rewarding experience to KLM Safaris and our travellers.

 Verified Enjoyable detour to the materuni village Detour to materuni village makes a memory, starts from Moshi town heading to the village. Meet chagga culture,banana and coffee plantation when locally prepared and the taste was wonderful. Local food and local beer the dance.  Verified Consider other options The walk to the waterfalls was not that interesting. The waterfall itself was not amazing and if you've seen any number of waterfalls you won't be that impressed by it. The process of roasting and grinding coffee and lunch at a small village was interesting, however we felt the entire trip was designed to extract as much money as possible in the way of constant tips at every corner or discussion had with any local.  Verified A great day in great places! A beautiful, natural place. Don't overrun and it's worth a visit. Our guide Augustino was just great! Very accommodating and he knows the land, vegetation, people and culture very well. You learn a lot of exciting information and feel very safe. A very dear person. We never had a better guide! The coffee experience is very special and recommended. You can accompany the coffee process yourself and taste the fresh, organic coffee! In order for the coffee to be good, a lot is sung and danced loud and loud during the processing for motivation. After the effort over coffee there is a great "Africa mom food" with banana soup and local food, banana beer on surcharge. The waterfall is very nice and reachable after a medium-short hike.  Verified Excellent first-day tour in Tanzania Our first day in Tanzania was fantastic, filled with a guided waterfall walk and coffee tour. With our jet lag, the tour leader kept the ideal leisurely pace for us, and the sights from the hike were breathtaking. The coffee trip was fascinating, if only for the opportunity to interact with and observe the locals.  Verified This is the tour you want! Such a fun and rewarding experience! Loved it from start to finish. Our guide was patient with us as we hiked to the waterfall, explaining about the tribe and village along the way. The coffee experience was by far my favorite though. Processing our own cup of coffee from the bean to cup was aaaammmaazing. And the sweet men and women of the village were so endearing as they cheered us on with their songs. The lunch was surprisingly tasty and filling with a good variety. You can buy some coffee, honey, or banana beer and other souveniers to support the village, which I highly recommend! Don't miss this tour! ALSO, i have compared similar tours and KLM seemed to offer the best value for money so I advise you book with them. Cheers and enjoy Tanzania!!

 Verified Wonderful waterfalls We were moving very slowly over the difficult and slick terrain, so Joel, our tour guide, was very competent, professional, and patient with us.
